About First Hawaii Title
First Hawaii Title Corporation was incorporated and
organized in February, 1985 by Thomas W. Sullivan, Sr.
First Hawaii Title opened for business with one branch
in Honolulu and six employees.
Today, First Hawaii Title Corporation services the entire State of Hawaii
employing over 100 persons in nine offices. The main branch is located in the
City Financial Tower at 201 Merchant Street, Suite 2000. For your convenience we
have two other branches on Oahu located in Kahala and Aiea. The Neighbor Islands
are represented with branch offices in Kahului, Kihei and Lahaina on Maui, in
Princeville on Kauai and in Kona and Kamuela on the Big Island.
Commonwealth Land Title is one of the underwriters for First Hawaii Title
Corporation. Operating under the umbrella holding company known as LandAmerica,
Commonwealth, together with its sister companies, Transnation Title and Lawyers
Title, has a combined revenue base of over $1.5 Billion Dollars.
Stewart Title Guaranty is also an underwriter for First Hawaii Title
Corporation. One of the nation’s largest title insurers, Stewart Title Guaranty
stands alone with increases in both reserve and surplus for 28 consecutive
years.
